As the year rolls on there’s a lot happened in the church, work and other wise. At the end of June the roof infestation was done to be followed by the insulation in the loft then at the start of July I set off to Egypt loaded down with so many vitamins Calpol and Paracetamol (10 kg's) plus the money that had been given. My thanks to all who gave also the thanks of the people of Egypt on the 21st July.
So many of you turned up for the garden party in aid of Ben Golding and a massive £700.00 was raise towards the cost of Ben's medication and air fare to the states I can only join Ben in giving so much thanks to so many who came and I know all who attended had a very good day my thanks extends also to those who donated time, food, raffle prizes and the mediums who also worked for free.
As some of you know we were let down by a removal firm in our attempts to get a new organ to the church but hopefully it won’t be to long now before we can get it here, it’s been donated by David & Elizabeth to whom I extend grateful thanks on your behalf.
On Saturday 18th August we had a coffee & healing morning and a further £138.00 was raised for the church funds. There is still more work to do in the church we have to get the drains and soakaway outside the church looked at and also we have to get an asbestos survey done.
Once again I have tried to cover all that’s happening in the church but I will continue to let you know from the rostrum on a day to day basis many thanks as always for what you have done and also for what you are going to do.
