Newsletter January & February 2008
Dear Friends,
Firstly let me wish you all a happy new year for 2008 and let’s hope if you had a good 2007 your good fortune continues if not then let’s hope things can only get better for you. The old year went out with a full program at the church including the Christmas appeal in aid of Clacton pet rescue which was well subscribe to and I know Sylvia was very pleased and wishes to send her thanks to everybody who gave, the thanks also comes from the pet centre as well. In December we also had are usual good Christmas raffle with well over 50 prizes, monies raise by this and our Christmas fayre all go to help church funds the total raised was over 500.00 pound and once again I’m only to pleased to extend my thanks to you all.
As this year starts there are many church members whose health can do with healing thoughts there are many I cannot name them all and if I left someone’s name out it would cause offence, so please healing prayers for all are so vital.
The committee and myself are looking at the possibility to replace the chairs in the church as we hear from so many of you how uncomfortable the chairs are, also there has been a structural report done on the fabric and state of the building many things are under way to help the church and I will always do my best to keep you all up to date.
As I finish once again I wish you all a wonderful 2008 and lets all do our best for the church.
